Sunset Beach Hotel -Xiropigado

An easy distance from Athens and a beautiful, relaxing small community, Xiropigado is one of our favorite places to be in Greece! The Sunset Hotel and Restaurant is our ‘feels like home’ place here and we stay here every time we are in Greece! This lovely and quiet family hotel has beautiful sea front rooms, a wonderful restaurant, and a fantastic family to host us. We have now watched their children grow to young adults! What a wonderful feeling to be able to continue to come back here every few years.

The small community (about 350 people) is located on the tucked in portion of the Argolic Gulf at the bottom of the slopes of Mount Zavista in the municipality of North Kynouria. Being about two hours from Athens airport makes it a popular resort area.

The restaurant is a wonderful food experience with many authentic Greek dishes to choose from for all meals. My husband loves the fantastic Moussaka and the feta stuffed eggplant. I’m always partial to the seafood especially the calamari!

The sunsets are fabulous and the company is always good. Wake up to a delicious breakfast, fresh juice and great coffee!
