We happened upon this beautiful spot as a result of the hotel where we were planning to stay having mechanical issues and being closed. Ana quickly called Lula at the Long Beach Resort and confirmed a room for us for the night. Wow! We were impressed with the care and diligence of the staff and Lula’s personal oversight of selecting a wonderful sea view room for us.
This lovely property sits on a beautiful beach with lovely terraces overlooking crystal clear blue waters and sun drenched loungers! Easy beach access by stairs and walkway found us quickly in the warm sea. The beach side bar and cafe serves an awesome chicken club sandwich and the staff are very friendly.
After our cooling off in the wonderful blue waters we decided it was time for a balcony glass of wine, which is our tradition, each evening. When I went to the dinner buffet I was amazed! It was quite incredible with a full wine selection, beautifully prepared traditional dishes and attentive staff. You can eat inside or on the patio where the cool breezes are refreshing.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was no less impressive. Tables of wonderful dishes were on offer and we enjoyed every delicious aspect of it.
But alas all good things must move along… with us leaving for our next destination we said our good byes to the wonderful staff. We will return.
