‘The Park Hotel’ was very nice! The absolutely beautiful lobby was reminiscent of bygone ages where carving was a life work more than a livelihood! Beautiful painted ceilings, carved wooden doors and furniture, and filigree planters brought me back to the turn of the century…yes the previous one!
The Hotel staff were efficient and kind, smiled easily and often and made us all feel at home. The rooms were generous, clean and fresh! All the qualities one would want in a ‘good stay’ were evident and abundant.
The second floor breakfast room was calling us where a twenty item ‘western and Asian’ breakfast awaited us. After a delicious breakfast and a shower we were ready for what ever the adventures the day would offer.
Recommended for the great service and beautiful surroundings!
