Lakonia Bay Apartments

Lakonia Bay was a new stop for us this trip to Greece so we wanted to see what this part of the Peloponnese was like for swimming, eating and staying.

We drove from our hotel at Xiropigado through the mountains and down to the sea! Beautiful scenery and fantastic roads to drive with the top down!

Monemvasia Winery was on our ‘must stop’ list to try a few new wines! See my blog post and check it out here: https://www.monemvasiawinery.gr/

Lakonia Bay Apartments were absolutely lovely suites of one and two bedrooms, full kitchen, and a bath. Most facing toward the sea with a lovely view. The owners were kind and generous and made us feel right at home. Run my a mother and son team they made sure we had everything we needed and more!

Highly recommended! Tell them TravelSpirit sent you!

The fresh bakery truck made the rounds with a wonderful old gentleman selling beautiful baked goods. We bought the spanakopita and it was very good! Breads, rolls, and pastries for breakfast (or really anytime)!

We did want to do a little exploring so we decided to take a day a drive to some interesting place. Along the road we drove past the island of Kythera and as my husband always wanted to go there, (but not this time around) we decided a picture was going to be all we would get of Kythera. The mainland to Kythera ferry was just not going to work into our travel plans. Maybe next time we will have a plan for Kythera!
