What an absolutely beautiful spot! This was also a new stop for us this trip to Greece. And it was perfect… from the lovely rooms, to the friendly staff, to the fabulous food…and to top it off a beautiful beach for swimming and relaxing with the most fantastic sunsets! Could not have asked for more…and wanted more time here for sure.
Our room overlooked the sea and had a wonderful breeze! The amenities were great with a lovely bath room and shower (one of the largest we have had in Greece), a large living area with a couch and eating area, as well as a well appointed bedroom with lovely linens and a view to the sea. We even had a load of laundry done!
The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, were very friendly but Covid-19 conscious following all protocols, wait staff were efficient and happy to see us. The sunset was spectacular! All-in-all a wonderful experience.
The food at the restaurant was so good we almost went back just to eat here!
This area is a great part of the Peloponnese to explore with the Ancient Site of Messene closeby for a day trip. The Archaeological Museum of Pylos is also within a day trip with lots to see. Kalamata (and their famous olives) is a quick ride too, just to pick up some delicious olives and a loaf of Greek village bread. There are castles at Methoni and Koroni and beaches at Finikounda to explore all within a short distance. Go ahead and do it!
