Sigh…such sad parting as the accommodation and food of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) was excellent. We dined. we danced, we said a sad goodbye to our two friends and we boarded the bus to Campochia (Cambodia).
We packed a lot of interesting culture, learning, and fun into the days we were residents of one of the most populous cities in Southeast Asia, 10,000,000 people and 9,000,000 scooters and motorcycles!
We visited temples, street markets, and small outlying villages. We ate, we drank, and we experienced some of the most wonderful views and adventures, with some of the most wonderful people. Ho Chi mingh City was awesome and our travel ‘family’ made it even more so by their mere presence (but the laughing, jokes, and stories helped too)!
Saigon ‘the jewel’ of Viet Nam is one of my favorite places and Viet Nam has become one of my favorite countries in the world.
Highly recommended for everything!
